12.2... Here We Go

Realized today that I am 12lbs heavier then the period when my husband says I looked my best.  I also felt my best at that point.  Twelve pounds.  I want to beg my body to magically drop 12 pounds.  Actually 12.2 to be more clear lol.  I weigh 136.2 and at my happiest with my body, and my husband’s happiest with my body, I weighed 124.  Please don’t get me wrong, he’s FINE with where I am right now.  I get no pressure in that area from him at all.  

But now I am putting the pressure on MYSELF.  12.2lbs is not a lot of weight to lose.  I don’t want to put a timeframe on it.  I am just going to say ASAP.  The sooner the better.  I want to say the end of November, but I don’t want to get discouraged either.  

Now, for the plan… every trip needs a road map, right?  Sooo… for diet I have been eating between 1,100 and 1,400 and I like that range.  Gives me play room, but also keeps me good to go.  Water… I know the standard is ½ your body weight in oz minimum.  I tend to drink more then that.  I carry a 32oz water jug with me everywhere, and I will continue to do that.  I will fill it up 3x a day.  So that is 96oz.  Not too shabby.  

Now… exercise… who knows the most in the world about weight loss?  And quick weight loss at that?  Duh, my mentor/idol/role model… Jillian Michaels.  You really can’t beat Jillian when it comes to weight loss.  I have her entire DVD library… and I LOVE them.  I do tend to like more weights then she does.  She is very big on circuit training, which I know burns fat fast.  So, I am going to incorporate some weight DVDs with some Jillian 20min DVDs.  And, yes, I am starting the schedule on a Wednesday, because tomorrow is Wednesday, and I don’t like waiting.  

Wednesday:  Shape Up Frontside, Tamilee Webb “I Want That Body” arms level 1 and 2

Thursday:  Shape Up Backside, Firm Lower Body workout

Friday:  Cardio Kickbox, Ab Jam

Saturday:  Shape Up Frontside, Tamilee Webb “I Want That Body” arms level 1 and 2

Sunday:  Active rest

Monday:  Shape Up Backside, Firm Lower Body Workout

Tuesday:  Cardio Kickbox, Ab Jam

I am going to do this for 2 weeks.  Then I will take out Shape Up DVD set and replace with Maxamize Backside and Frontside to shake it up.  

Jillian, I am doing what you said, I’m going to trust you and the process.

Sooo… I realize I haven’t been taking this blog very seriously, so I am starting it over.  When I get home (and can log onto Blogger), I am deleting all previous entries.  I want this to really be about my feelings, struggles, and of course, when I do well.
